15ML LIMITED EDITION: I have not found another source of true amber (fossilized conifer resin), which is the backbone of Shambhala and Areyus. When this product is sold out it will not be reproduced.

Shambhala is the home of the Kumara's and it translates as "place of peace" or "where the Will of God is Known."  This scent is very near and dear to my heart, as it feels like an aspect of my consciousness has been placed in every bottle. Shambhala is my personal favorite to wear as a daily perfume.  It is very powerful, like Areyus, but with a softness to it. Where Areyus is the Rocky Mountains, all jagged peaks and raw power, Shambhala is the Blue Ridge, ancient and weathered, understated in it's power and wisdom. It pulls one deeper into the Knowing that All Is One.

I created this scent, following a literal last-minute prompting, just before leaving to facilitate a weekend-long intensive with my more advanced students. Not knowing anything, other than it was to be used that weekend, it quickly came together and everyone loved it. The following week, I brought a sample to an acupuncturist friend of mine who was acquainted with my other blends, telling her nothing about how it came to be. Upon smelling it and sitting with the energy she told me it brought up a strong memory of a spiritual retreat she had gone on, long ago, with women from her church, the purpose being for greater bonding and coming together in Christ. She said it was funny how that memory came so present when she hadn't thought of that retreat in a long time. How's that for synchronistic confirmation?!

Due to the nature of materials in this blend, it is perfect for anointing the sacred points on the body, especially the heart, throat, 3rd eye and back of the neck. I always run any oil remaining in my hands through my hair, which holds the scent beautifully. The energy of this blend is VERY strong and some of my customers can find it overpowering. I recommend starting with just a drop or two and working up from there.

Scent profile: Shambhala is softly floral, ever-so-slightly powdery, highlighting the scents of sacred white lotus and white champa flowers, but with a deep, rich woody undercurrent of all the sacred tree resins and heartwoods (true amber, sandalwood, frankincense, myrrh, and cedarwood).
